At a Glance …

NEW CHRISTIANS: We welcome Daisy, Leah, Sophie & Emma who joined our community through the waters of Baptism recently. May they continue to grow strong in body, mind and spirit in the years ahead.

PREPARATION FOR FIRST COMMUNION OR CONFIRMATION IN 2019: If you have a child entering either 2nd or 6th class in school this September then please register for the preparation programme now.

SOCIAL HOBBY & CRAFT AFTERNOON: Free Craft social afternoon recommencing Sunday Oct 7th 3pm to 5.30pm.

NEW BEGINNING FOR FR. JOSEPH: We thank Fr. Joseph for all his work with us here in our Pastoral Area over the best year. His faith, humour and laughter have been a great gift to us. We wish him every success in Bray Parish and in his studies for his doctorate in Theology in Maynooth University. May God continue to bless him.

WELCOME FR. GERARD TYRRELL: We extend a warm welcome to Fr. Gerard who begins his ministry with us this coming weekend. We pray that he will make his home with us and bring joy and energy to our pastoral area.

CHURCH ALTAR SERVERS: We are looking to recruit boys and girls who have celebrated their 1st Holy Communion as new altar servers over the coming weeks.

CHURCH FLOWERS IN HOLY ROSARY:  We are looking to build a team to work on the flower arrangements in our church. Please contact Jennifer (086 232 5148).

PARISH SAFEGUARDING: If anyone engaged in parish ministry has not been recently Garda Vetted can you please pick up a Garda Vetting forms from the Sacristy, Parish office and Parish website.

NEW PARISH OFFICE GUIDELINES: Because of the new European legislation around data protection a copy of the Birth Certificate of the person requiring a Baptismal Certificate, Confirmation Certificate and a Wedding Certificate will now be required as ID before a copy of the Certificate can be issued from the parish office.

BECOMING A CATHOLIC?: Are you or someone you know interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith and the Catholic Church. If so please contact Fr. John after Mass or make enquiries to the Parish Office. We will begin our preparation for Adults wishing to be baptised or indeed make their 1st Communion or be Confirmed in the Catholic Faith at the Easter Vigil next Easter soon during the month of September.
