At a Glance …

NEW CHRISTIANS: We welcome Matilda, Hannah, Amber & Layla, into our faith community. As they join our community through the waters of Baptism may they also continue to grow strong in body, mind and spirit in the years ahead.

NEW ALTAR SERVERS WANTED: We are inviting all boys and girls who have made their Holy Communion to come and join our Altar Servers Team.

1ST COMMUNION MEETINGS FOR PARENTS: We have our first meeting for parents of children preparing for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Communion next May. The meeting takes place in St. Kilian House Pastoral Centre, Greystones on Tuesday 15th October. The meetings take place at 7pm and will last an hour

ECUMENICAL ALPHA COURSE  We are delighted to announce that we will be running an ALPHA course with St. Patrick’s Church (C of I),church Road, Greystones. This course is open to all who are searching for meaning or wondering what life is really about.  Wed. at 7.30. Next gathering: Wednesday 16th October at 7.30. All Welcome.

ROSARY FOR FAITH :The Rosary for Faith and Life will take place on the 13th of October 2019. We are asking you to find a location in your area and join us in praying the Rosary there at 2.30pm on the 13th of October.

THE HOLY ROSARY PRAESIDIUM: of the Legion of Mary Greystones , will host an information table before & after the 11.30am Mass on Sun 20th Oct. 2019.

REDFORD CEMETERY: Blessing of Graves in Redford Cemetery on Sunday 3rd November @ 3pm.

NOVEMBER ALTAR LIST OF THE DEAD: Envelopes for the Altar list of the dead are available from the back of the church, please return them to the sacristy or office before the 1st November.

HOSPITAL VISITATION: If you know of anyone who is sick in hospital or at home and would like a visit, please don’t hesitate to call one of the priests of the parish or the parish office.

CHARITY TAX REBATE: A big thank you for all who support the parish through the Planned Giving Collection. This is the only collection that stays in the parish. You can further support the parish by completing a CHY3 form. This permits the parish to claim the tax back on your donations to the parish. It is a simple process that can yield extra funds to support parish initiatives. Contact the parish office for further details. Thank You.

BECOMING A CATHOLIC?: Are you or someone you know interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith and the Catholic Church. If so please contact Fr. John after Mass or make enquiries to the Parish Office. We will begin our preparation for Adults wishing to be baptised or indeed make their 1st Communion or be Confirmed in the Catholic Faith at the Easter Vigil next Easter soon during the month of September.
