Good Friday – Stations of the Cross

On Good Friday we are inviting you to pray the Stations of The Cross in your own quiet time.

The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on earth. The 14 stations focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ’s last day.

Christ never forgets those who accompanied him to Calvary. In the Stations of the Cross we do just that as though we were there on the day.

There are many online video depictions of the Stations of The Cross available.

We offer these as a selection to choose from:

  • Catholic Relief Services Stations of the Cross
    There are 14 x 1-2 minute videos that flow together with instrumental music, narration, and film footage of our global family, raising awareness of the  plight and suffering of the poor, inspiring justice, charity, and solidarity in our Lenten practices. (28 mins)

  • Way of the Cross for Kids
    Christine, Eva, Joseph and Enrique follow the 14 Stations of the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (25 mins)

  • Word on Fire

At 3pm, join us through the Webcam for Ecumenical reading of the Passion and Universal Prayer of the Church from The Holy Rosary Church

At 8pm, join us through Zoom for Prayer around the Cross.
