World Mission Sunday

This Weekend, on World Mission Sunday, Mass collections in over 120 countries will be offered to support the life-giving work of overseas missionaries. However, this direct appeal from Pope Francis, is in jeopardy.

The worldwide pandemic means that less of us can physically attend Mass, resulting in less offerings in the basket. Its implications for suffering overseas communities in the months ahead will be devastating. You can help right now!

How can you support World Mission Sunday?

Support the direct appeal by Pope Francis:

by donating €4.00 by texting the word ‘Mission’ to 50300. Alternatively donate at www.wmi/mission or call Fiona in World Missions Ireland on 01 497 2035.

Support Mission work in Lebanon and Kenya through outreach projects supported by the pastoral area of Greystones and Kilquade:

by making a donation to SAAS in Kenya by visiting their website

or

by making a donation to Fr. William Stuart working in Tyre in Lebanon
