Prayer for Healing of all Nations

Jesus cried out and said,

“Whoever believes in me believes not only in me

but also in the One who sent me,

and whoever sees me sees the One who sent me.

I came into the world as light,

so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.

John 12 : 44

PRAYER

God, you have promised to make all things new:

restore peace where there has been violence

remove tension where there has been anger,

rekindle community where there has been division and hatred

relieve suffering where there has been hurt, and recreate a united church

for the good of  all people and for peace of the world.

In Christ’s name we ask it – and offer ourselves to become leaves on your tree,

living and working ” for the healing of the nations”
