Life in Our Parish

Welcoming Ceremony

January 13, 2019; 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The welcoming ceremony is part of the celebration of baptism in the community.

It is intended to be a way of introducing the children to the Christian community to which they will belong and become a part of, as they grow in their faith.

The first stage of baptism will be celebrated at this Mass.

Changes Impact us in Different Ways

Proposing change is always a challenge.

We understand that the proposed changes in the Masses impact each of us in different ways.

Being open to the changes facing us, taking steps together to enable action and building on what we already have will help us sustain and grow our faith community.

See the full text of the message from the PPC about the proposed changes here.

Changes in the Pastoral Area – Message from the PPC

We are a vibrant parish who come together in various ways and various times over the year to celebrate our faith in our living and active God.

The purpose of the changes is to enable us to focus on and develop the liturgies of three specific Sunday Masses in order to include a wider group of participants, including families and youth, while continuing to meet the needs of our existing congregation.

Mass of Remembrance

November 2, 2018; 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Masses will be celebrated at 8pm on Friday 2nd November, the Feast of All Souls.

This Mass is offered for all those who have died this past year, especially for those whose Requiem Mass was celebrated here in the parish.

If you would like a loved one, who died this past year, remembered and prayed for at this celebration please add their name to the List of the Dead in the parish office or sacristy.
