NEW CHRISTIANS: We welcome All who joined our community through the waters of Baptism recently.

REGISTRATION FOR PREPARATION FOR FIRST COMMUNION OR CONFIRMATION IN 2018: Registration for the preparation programme for these Sacraments in 2018 is now open on our website and closes on the 30th of September 2017.

ECUMENICAL ALPHA COURSE: We are running a joint course with the Church of Ireland in Newcastle. The course will be hosted by Fr. John Daly and the Rev. William Bennett.  It begins on September 20th in Church of Ireland Parish Centre in Newcastle at 8pm. See further details. ALL WELCOME.

PROCLAMING GOD’S WORD: We are looking for people from our parish to become proclaimers of God’s Word as we gather on a Sunday morning. Please contact the office.

Fr. SEAN MCGOVERN VISIT: will celebrate 11am mass on Sun 24th Sept.

PREPARATION FOR THE FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE. A series of eight sessions to examining how Jesus Christ describes himself as recorded in St. John’s Gospel will take place in Kilian House Family Centre, starting on Tue. 26th Sept. from 10.40-12.00pm. All welcome.

GREYSTONES FOLK CHOIR Practice takes place for Greystones Folk Choir on Tuesdays at 8.15 pm in Killian Family Centre. New members welcome. Further details from Jo Leonard. 086 6051294

SOUP AND SANDWICHES lunches resume on Tuesday, 19th September in St. Patrick’s Swann Hall at 12.30 until 2pm and HOLY ROSARY SOUP & SANDWICHES will be back in Kilian House Family Centre on Wed. 27 September between 12.15 & 2pm. Join us for good food and a friendly atmosphere. Donation €5. Proceeds go to local charities.

THE WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES has invited thousands of volunteers to join them for the once-in-a-generation event. Social, Hobby and Craft Afternoon


October 1, 2017; 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Come and join in this initiative to share a skill, pick up a new hobby or simply find a friend.

Next gathering is on Sunday Oct 1st from 3-5.30pm, in Kilian House Family Centre. (Note extended duration!)

This is the first one following the summer break… so be sure to come along!

Bring your craft or hobby items and let’s see what can happen! A great afternoon is had by all with a cuppa in hand too!

Changes to Weekday Celebrations in Holy Rosary Church


As Fr. Denis is just back from a bout of ill health and Fr. Gerry is still unwell and unable to work in the parish at the moment there are a number of changes to weekday celebrations in Holy Rosary. These will be announced weekly.

  • Monday: there will be no celebrations
  • Tuesday and Thursday: a Service of Word celebrated at 10am.
  • Wednesday and Friday: Mass will be celebrated at 10am.

Thank you for your cooperation and support and please pray for speedy recovery of Fr. Denis and Fr. Gerry.

Call for Volunteers to help with Irish Wheelchair Association Collection


We have our regular volunteers that help out every year but there is a shortage for some areas throughout Wicklow. We really need your help…

The dates we have a permit for collection in Wicklow is 26th and 27th of August.

St. Patrick’s, Kilquade Conference of the SVP would like to say a special thank you to all those who supported their recent Garden Party in Trudder Grange.
