We want to welcome into the Parish community each child who is presented for Baptism and to help the parents to recognise the value of the gift they are bestowing on their children when they choose to present them.
Bethany is a lay, parish based Bereavement Support Group. We offer confidential and understanding support to those who are grieving. All members of the Bethany Group have had personal experience of grief and loss. We see our role as supporters / listeners rather than counsellors.
A group of ministers to the sick was formed in 1985 when lay ministers were introduced in the parish.
Holy Communion is brought each Sunday to the residents of Greystones Nursing Home and to Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home and to people who are housebound in the parish. The reception of Communion is a sign of support and concern shown by the Christian Community for those who are ill and cannot attend mass.
To have a commissioned resource of Eucharistic Ministers available to serve in the distribution of The Eucharist to the Greystones Parish Faith Community.
RCIA is a discussion group helping lay Catholics read and consider the Gospel readings each week. Everyone is welcome to attend.
