It was a pleasure meeting with you at the recent Baptism Meet & Greet gathering.
As explained, the preparation for Baptism is an important process and throughout that we are delighted to be journeying with and supporting you.
Before you start filling in this, we advise it is a requirement that we have a copy of the child's birth certificate. You will need to upload a copy of it in the next section.
There are three stages to the journey to Baptism:
- Attending a Preparation Meeting
- Attending a Welcome Ceremony
- Attending the Baptism Ceremony
This form will guide you as you choose these important dates. It is imperative that you attend the Preparation Meeting and Welcome Ceremony. Participating in these is a requirement for presenting your child for Baptism. The Baptism cannot take place without your involvement in them.
Baptisms take place each weekend in the Pastoral Area of Greystones and Kilquade. These ceremonies are on a Sunday in either St. Anthony's Church, Kilcoole, The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones or St. Joseph's Church, Newtownmountkennedy.
You have the option of choosing any of these locations for the Baptism of your child into the faith.
