Morning Prayer of the Church 10am: Holy Rosary, Greystones.

ECUMENICAL WALK OF WITNESS

We gather with believers from all the Christian Churches in Greystones for a walk of faith and unity in the Lord. We begin in Holy Rosary Church at 12 noon and walk together to conclude our prayer in St. Patrick’s Church, Church Road.

As usual, following the Procession of the Cross on Good Friday you are invited into the Swann Hall in St. Patrick’s for Soup and Rolls.

Donations for the relief of Syrian Refugees gladly accepted.

Do come and continue the ecumenical fellowship.

FAMILY STATIONS OF THE CROSS 12 NOON

This is a celebration of Good Friday geared for young families. There will be a presentation of the Lord’s Passion by young people in St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, at noon.

THE LORD’S PASSION

This is the solemn celebration of the Lord’s Passion including the reading of the Lord’s passion, veneration of the Cross, Prayers of the Church and Holy Communion.

It will be celebrated at the following churches:

  • 3pm: St. Patrick’s, Kilquade
  • 3pm: St. Anthony’s, Kilcoole
  • 3pm: St. Joseph’s, Newtown
  • 3pm: Carmelite Monastery, Delgany
  • 3pm: Holy Rosary, Greystones

EVENING STATIONS OF THE CROSS

This is an opportunity for those working on Good Friday to come and gather around the cross for quiet prayer and reflection.

  • 7pm: St. Joseph’s, Newtown
  • 8pm: St. Patrick’s, Kilquade
  • 8pm: Holy Spirit Oratory, Newcastle

EVENING TAIZE PRAYER AROUND THE CROSS:

  • 8pm: St Kilian’s Church, Blacklion
