Sacrament Support

Celebrating the sacraments is at the core of our parish life. There are many groups that give support as people prepare for the celebration of the sacraments.

Here we provide the details of those groups in our parish.


Baptism Group

We want to welcome into the Parish community each child who is presented for Baptism and to help the parents to recognise the value of the gift they are bestowing on their children when they choose to present them.

Communion to the Sick and Housebound

A group of ministers to the sick was formed in 1985 when lay ministers were introduced in the parish.

Holy Communion is brought each Sunday to the residents of Greystones Nursing Home and to Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home and to people who are housebound in the parish.  The reception of Communion is a sign of support and concern shown by the Christian Community for those who are ill and cannot attend mass.
