Unsure about Returning to Mass in the Church?

Although we can gather again in small numbers (maximum of 50 people) for Mass, there are some simple changes to how we engage when in the Church so that it remains a safe area for all present.

If you have decided to join Mass online to date, this short video will give you an idea of what to expect when you feel comfortable to attend in person again. Note: it is necessary to book. Read on for details.

Either way we are delighted you are joining us in prayer.

Mass Time during Covid 19 Restrictions

Given the current restrictions under Covid-19 these are the agreed Mass times in the Pastoral Area.

We are asking that we all think and act as a community, so to facilitate everyone’s desire to return to celebrating the Eucharist as a community.

As the Sunday obligation is still suspended, if you have the time to come during the week, please do so, to facilitate others who are only available to attend Mass at the weekends.

Preparation for the Sacraments

The ceremonies for the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation for the 820 families in our pastoral area had to be cancelled in May.  We are pleased now to be offering these to the families who want to go ahead.  They will take place during the months of September and October, 32 different ceremonies in total.

Much of the preparation was completed in the schools, we are providing an on-line programme for the families to complete this month so as to touch back into the work they were doing earlier this year in their preparation.  This programme is available here.

The Glenstal Sunday Missal

As we no longer will have Missalettes at Sunday Masses, we are inviting parishioners to purchase The Glenstal Sunday Missal.

Available after each mass beginning Saturday 8th August. €10 per copy.

Fr. John recorded a short guide to Using the Missal. It is available here: Guide to using the Glenstal Missal

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

August 15, 2020; 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

August 15, 2020 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Mass will be celebrated in The Holy Rosary Church Greystones at 10am on Saturday 15th of August.

Usual guidelines exist for attending this Mass.

To keep us all safe –

Booking for Masses and The Sacrament of Reconciliation

As a faith community, we are delighted to welcome you back to Public Masses and to the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Pastoral area.

In both cases however, it is necessary to book a place/appointment so to assist in managing the numbers attending and for contact tracing purposes (a requirement of the HSE).

We Can’t Do It Without Your Help…

As we continue our community gatherings in our Church buildings, we need people to help.

If we do not get sufficient numbers to help with the Welcome and Protect Ministry, continuing as we are with weekend and weekday Masses may need to be reviewed.

With YOU this challenge will be met.
