The Pope’s Prayer Intentions for 2017
Starting in 2017 the Pope will present only one prepared prayer intention per month, rather than the two presented before this year.
He plans, however, to add a second prayer intention each month related to current events or urgent needs, like disaster relief. The urgent prayer request will help mobilize prayer and action related to the urgent situation.

UNWANTED CHRISTMAS GIFTS WANTED: People can leave their unwanted gifts at the crib in St Mary’s Pro Cathedral from now until 15th January. In aid of Crosscare.
NEW CHRISTIANS We welcome Oliver Matthew, Laoise Eveline, Madeleine Mary and Jack Michael who recently joined our community through the waters of Baptism.
LUISNE ON THE MOVE! From 23rd January Luisne courses will be run from the Kilcoole Community Centre.
WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY 2015 will be observed from 18th January to the 25th January.
EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Sunday afternoon from 3pm – 6pm in Holy Rosary Church and every Thursday after 10 am Mass. Exposition in St. Kilian’s Church each Monday 7am -10pm and each Wednesday 7am – 1pm. All are welcome.
IRISH COUNTRYWOMAN’S ASSOCIATION, Delgany Guild, in St. Patrick’s Worship and Recreation centre, Church Road, Greystones, at 8pm on Monday 9th January.
